AtWork Group in Reno, NV is seeking an Engineering & Operations Manager to lead daily cross-functional operations across Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, and Warehouse. The role focuses on driving efficiency, supervising ERP SAP-based processes, and partnering with Accounting on financial reviews and reporting.
The candidate should have a mechanical engineering degree with 5+ years of managerial operations experience, strong leadership, and a track record in ISO quality systems.
Engineering & Operations Manager
Location: Reno, NV
Salary: $120, 000 annually
Job Type: Full-Time | Monday– Friday
Lead daily operations across Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, and Warehouse departments
Drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency and productivity
Partner with Accounting on financial reviews, payment approvals, and operational reporting
Monitor sales activity and margin performance
Oversee SAP system performance in partnership with Accounting
Manage IT vendor relationships and support business systems
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and oversee internal quality audits
Lead workplace safety initiatives and training compliance
Manage purchasing activities, inventory control, receiving, and warehouse operations
Review and approve purchase orders, customer quotations, contracts, and key operational documents
Support production scheduling and operational planning
Coach, develop, and lead department managers and staff
Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve strategic business objectives
Bachelor' s degree required - Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of management experience in operations, manufacturing, engineering, or a related environment
Strong leadership and team development experience
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand products and operational workflows
Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Experience Manufacturing or industrial operations ISO quality systems and internal auditing Supply chain, purchasing, logistics, and warehouse management Continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives Financial oversight and business process management
