Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Human Resources to lead the Bank's HR strategy and support growth. You will partner with senior leadership to advance people, culture, and talent initiatives across the organization.

As SVP, HR you will oversee talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, training, and staff development while balancing long-term strategic planning with day-to-day leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits administration, talent management, and employee relations.
• Demonstrated success implementing organizational and workforce strategies.
• Experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Human Resources experience within financial services preferred.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and play a key role in driving organizational success through people, culture, and talent. You will provide leadership and oversight of the Bank's human resources functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, training, and staff development.

This role balances long-term strategic planning with day-to-day leadership while ensuring HR programs align with the organization's goals and values. The successful candidate will collaborate across all business lines to support employee engagement, workforce planning, and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
