Senior Vice President of Finance | Remote | $250,000–$300,000 Base + Bonus + LTIP

Are you a seasoned finance leader with deep roots in renewable energy project finance? A fast-growing, mission-driven developer is seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance to lead its financial strategy, drive capital formation, and support the company’s expansion into an Independent Power Producer (IPP) model.

This is a critical executive role reporting directly to the CEO—shaping the financial backbone of the business by leading project debt, tax equity, and corporate financial modeling efforts. You’ll engage closely with institutional partners, banks, and investors to secure the capital needed to deliver large-scale solar projects across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead capital formation efforts including project debt, tax equity, and investor engagement.
• Structure and negotiate utility-scale project financings, from term sheets to close.
• Oversee and enhance the corporate financial model, ensuring it reflects evolving strategy.
• Drive detailed economic analysis for all projects to ensure profitability and alignment with company goals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and tax equity providers.
• Lead budgeting, planning, and long-term forecasting activities across the company.
• Manage a high-performing finance team and external consultants.
• Ensure compliance with tax, reporting, and governance standards.
• Partner cross-functionally on deal execution and corporate strategy.
