Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications to lead our Global Communications team in New York. You will shape and execute an integrated communications strategy that sharpens our commercial narrative and industry position.

You will elevate senior executives through distinctive positioning, thought leadership, and high-impact platforms, acting as a trusted advisor on messaging, executive readiness, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in communications, with a strong track record of success
• Proven ability to develop communications strategies, messaging, communications materials
• Strong executive presence and experience counseling senior leaders and managing issues
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Experience in managing organizational changes and transformational programs
• Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in communications strategy development and execution
• Experience in working with AI tools to strengthen communications quality, efficiency and impact
• Outstanding judgement, proactive problem-solving ability, and true accountability and ownership in scope of work
