Job description

Responsibilities
  • This role manages the entirety of the ACH Processing unit for the Payments Enablement SDG group under Payments processing.
  • Ensures best‑practice approaches for streamlining and optimizing processes through workflow design and technology, applying in‑depth knowledge and expertise on service offerings.
  • Proactively assesses and resolves complex transaction issues.
  • Develops processes for quality improvement and systems to test and maintain cash processing and transaction management.
  • Acts as an escalation point for complex problems that less experienced resources cannot solve.
  • Crafts solutions and methods to resolve current issues and prevent similar problems in the future.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
  • Manages one or more Cash Processing and Funds Transfer teams, ensuring achievement of team goals.
  • Ensures the team is equipped to operationalize and attain objectives.
  • Manages the human resources of the team, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • May manage financial resources of the team (budgets, expenses, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 7‑10 years of total work experience, with at least 1‑3 years in management preferred.
  • Extensive industry knowledge regarding the ACH batch process is required.
  • External industry knowledge is needed for ACH modernization initiatives and internal/external communications.
  • Experience in financial investments preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
