Job summary

Electra is seeking a Senior Loads & Dynamics Engineer specializing in vibrations and acoustics to lead analysis for the EL9 aircraft. You will own critical loads and dynamic environments from concept through certification, collaborating with design, stress, propulsion, and test teams to ensure accurate translations into system requirements.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in aircraft loads and FE-based analysis, with FAA Part 23/25 familiarity and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years in aircraft loads, dynamics, vibrations, or acoustics.
• Experience with FE-based tools and certification contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead static, dynamic, vibration, and acoustic loads for airframe and propulsion.
• Own loads and dynamics tasks from concept to certification.
• Manage contractors for loads, flutter, and acoustic data.
• Define vibration environments for sizing and qualification.
• Perform coupled loads analyses and frequency response assessments.
• Collaborate with design, stress, propulsion, systems, and test teams.
• Support ground and flight test activities and data analysis.
• Develop structural dynamic models and present at reviews.
• Interface with suppliers on vibration and acoustic requirements.
