Sage Veterinary Imaging in Sandy, UT, seeks a Veterinary Technician III – Advanced Imaging (Ultrasound Focus) to perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound and support advanced imaging services in a collaborative specialty setting.

In this role, you’ll mentor other technicians, contribute to imaging protocol development, and ensure exceptional patient care while integrating ultrasound with MRI, CT, and radiography workflows. The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician with RVTs credentials and state licensure.
• Minimum five years of progressive veterinary ultrasound experience.
• Ability to mentor and educate junior staff.
• Strong communication and patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Acquire complete diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality.
• Lead ultrasound quality assurance initiatives.
• Mentor Veterinary Technician I and II team members.
• Support MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography workflows.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and assist with anesthesia.
• Maintain imaging suites and equipment.
