Job summary

Sage Veterinary Imaging is seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead imaging and clinical decision-making within our specialized practice. You will oversee anesthesia, case management, and collaboration with radiologists and specialists to drive high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes progressive imaging capabilities, neuroimaging, and a strong commitment to client communication, education, and continuous improvement in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required and licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of independent clinical practice; emergency/critical care experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced diagnostic imaging and neuroradiology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as attending veterinarian for imaging procedures and image-guided therapies.
  • Develop anesthesia plans and oversee patient care through imaging and recovery.
  • Review histories, labs, imaging, and clinical questions to guide decisions.
  • Coordinate with radiologists, neurologists, and referring veterinarians for diagnostic accuracy.
  • Lead clinical education, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiatives.
