Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Senior Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) Engineer in the Los Angeles or San Francisco area, with remote/hybrid options. Full-time, executive-level position in the Legal department.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required.
• Senior Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) Engineer experience.
• Experience supporting government or legal services programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in teleconferences or technical meetings to review and support program objectives.
• Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting using engineering docs.
• Record configurations changes through change control boards.
• Process storage requests, migrations and decommission tasks.
• Monitor failed components and coordinate with vendors/site support.
• Respond to alerts with prompt corrective actions and escalations.
• Complete scheduled maintenance per policies and procedures.
• Prevent data loss or outages through careful maintenance.
• Manage technology in remote environments.
• Review and process tickets per SLAs.
• Provide initial response and escalation for outages (L1/L2).
• Schedule maintenance actions timely.
• Create PowerShell and VBScript scripts to automate tasks.
• Daily system monitoring of hardware, resources, and logs.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly.
• Configure/add new services as needed.
• Facilitate migration to cloud infrastructures.
• Research and recommend automated approaches for admin tasks.
• Prepare technical assessments with tasks and effort estimates.
