Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Verification Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team.

You will drive data-driven verification processes, perform hands-on diagnostics across electrical, software, and mechanical subsystems, and collaborate with hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure quality at end of production. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional reviews, and proactive problem solving to meet stringent performance standards for autonomous

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years in autonomous vehicle, automotive, or related industry
• Hands-on with automotive electronics and familiar with Ethernet/CAN
• Strong leadership and ownership in integration programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading reviews
• Proven ability to drive testing from development to final report-outs

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and external manufacturing partners to build data-driven verification processes
• Troubleshoot hardware and software failures within subsystems
• Design corrective and preventive measures for primary failure modes
• Perform diagnostics across electrical, software, and mechanical systems to identify root causes
• Drive verification programs using rigorous analysis tools to meet performance standards
• Evaluate hardware quality and provide feedback to resolve assembly discrepancies
• Validate documentation including schematics, build procedures, and QA protocols
• Participate in bring-up, validation, and sign-off across the integration lifecycle
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Systems teams to ensure scalable, quality platforms
