Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to own the design and execution of Kodiak’s Autonomy Fault Management System for its driverless platform in Mountain View, California.

You will lead end-to-end activities from requirements through verification and safety case integration, collaborating with hardware, software, and system safety teams to ensure safe, available operation and scalable deployment.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or PhD in engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end development of the Autonomy Fault Management System across hardware, software, system safety, and operations teams.
• Execute systems and safety engineering for fault management across the full V-model lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts including requirements, traceability, V&V plans and evidence.
• Support fault management architecture and concept of operations (detection, isolation, response, safe-state behavior).
• Contribute to evidence supporting the Fault Management System within the Driverless Safety Case.
