Job summary

On Location is seeking a Lead Cluster Technology Manager to oversee on-site technology for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. You will lead cross-venue tech teams, design and deploy IT systems, and coordinate with venue managers, production crews, and partners to deliver a flawless guest experience.

You will manage hardware/software deployments, power and network infrastructure, and service delivery across venues, reporting to the Director of Onsite Technology in a high-profile international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in on-site/field technology support and project management.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience delivering complex technology programs in large events.
• Sound understanding of IT/telecommunications, including Wi‑Fi and network cabling.
• Experience in managing third-party vendors in multi-vendor environments.
• Proficiency with Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, Linux and MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Onsite Technology Functional Area across multiple venues.
• Recruit and manage Venue Technology Managers for a cluster of venues.
• Design, configure, and implement hardware and software systems for venues.
• Collaborate with partners, suppliers, and venue teams to maintain installation schedules.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management during Load-in/out and Games time.
• Ensure technology services meet SLAs/OLAs and operational readiness.
