Job summary

Dexcom seeks a Sr. Manager, New Business Development to join Dexcom Ventures. You will support research, relationship management, diligence, and portfolio management for strategic investments in CGM and adjacent technologies.

You’ll build and nurture relationships with entrepreneurs, researchers, and investors, prepare presentations for investment committees, and help track portfolio performance across global opportunities in a fast‑growing health tech leader.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience.
• At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.
• Travel required: 15-25% for this role.

Responsibilities

• Target Identification – Proactively seek investment opportunities aligning to Dexcom’s strategic objectives and establish the investment rationale.
• Foster External Relationships – Network with entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and key opinion leaders to identify promising technologies.
• Technical Clinical Due Diligence – Support due diligence by researching new technologies, evaluating market trends, and communicating with experts.
• Portfolio Management – Work with portfolio companies to understand needs and identify resources and relationships.
• Material Preparation – Prepare presentations and analyses for investment committees and meetings.
• Maintain records of portfolio companies and coordinate reporting with finance and legal teams.
