Job summary

Amazon Air is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to lead third-party ground handling vendors across the North America network. You will own the full supplier lifecycle from sourcing to performance management and be the primary commercial interface with vendor executives.

In this role you will drive service quality, manage costs, and deliver results for our customers, balancing contract structuring with performance improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of vendor management experience.
• 5+ years of program strategy & execution experience.
• 5+ years of communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to lead vendor strategy across Amazon Air ground ops network to enhance performance and lower cost to serve.
• Lead sourcing activities for new and rebid contracts: develop RFP/RFI, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and execute agreements.
• Own the vendor relationship with executive leadership; translate performance data into actionable improvement plans with timelines.
• Build partnerships with commercial, operational, technical, and finance leaders to remove constraints.
• Establish data-driven decision-making mechanisms and executive-ready reporting.
• Navigate ambiguity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
