Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a dedicated Vendor Audit & Contract Compliance professional to safeguard our commercial interests. You will conduct vendor audits, assess contractual compliance, collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and identify financial recovery opportunities to mitigate risk.

The role requires a strong background in contract interpretation, cross-functional teamwork, and negotiation, with responsibilities spanning governance, internal controls, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in SCM, Contract Management, Audit, Compliance, Finance, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying complex commercial contracts and procurement agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data for risks and recoveries.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Vendor Audit & Contract Compliance (VACC) activities to assess supplier compliance and identify value recovery opportunities.
• Support audit planning by establishing priorities, scope, and objectives based on spend, risk, and business needs.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, external auditors, suppliers, and stakeholders to execute and report on vendor audits.
• Review contracts, financial data, and transactions to validate compliance and support audit findings.
• Assist with negotiations and resolution of audit findings to maximize recoveries and strengthen supplier accountability.
• Provide guidance on contractual, compliance, and commercial matters to reduce risk.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Legal, Accounts Payable, and business partners to drive compliance initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement through corrective actions and best-practice adoption.
• Monitor industry trends and audit practices to enhance program effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive program awareness and outcomes.
