Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Manager, Vehicle Validation to lead the SSN validation portfolio and shape strategy across multiple programs. You will guide Program Leads, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure robust data-backed updates on status and risk.

The role emphasizes adopting AI-enabled validation methods, leveraging Jira, Confluence, and Jama, and scaling best practices across the organization for faster, consistent decisions.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in automotive or complex electro-mechanical products in PM, systems engineering, validation, or cross-functional leadership.
• Deep understanding of vehicle development milestones and how DFMEAs, requirements, and build phases connect to delivery and launch decisions.
• Experience leading and developing people across multiple programs and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Program Leads TPMs accountable for validation execution on SSN programs.
• Translate functional goals into an actionable validation strategy and operating plan across programs.
• Collaborate with numerous departments to align DVP coverage, asset plans, and long-lead test timing.
• Pilot AI-enabled validation methods and advance dashboards and data systems to improve decisions.
