Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Sr, Service Technician in Austin, TX to join the Maintenance Department. The role involves configuring, maintaining, diagnosing, and signing off on vehicles for safe operation, with emphasis on proactive service and quality records.

The ideal candidate has extensive vehicle maintenance knowledge, 2–4 years of technician experience, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials.
2–4 years of technician experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
Strong communication, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation.
Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate and drive the repair process, escalating issues to engineering teams as needed.
Create diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records and quality reports.
Maintain shop facilities, tools, and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
