Job summary

Magna Steyr USA is seeking a Sr. Vehicle Integration Project Engineer to lead design, development, validation and launch of vehicle systems and complete vehicle programs. The role collaborates with OEM customers, Magna divisions, global engineering teams and suppliers to ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery.

You will mentor engineers, develop engineering requirements and drive set-based and systems engineering approaches across multiple subsystems for successful production ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
• Experience leading complex vehicle development programs.
• Strong knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, APQP and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, validation and launch of vehicle systems and complete vehicle programs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Drive validation plans, including virtual and physical testing, to meet program milestones.
• Coordinate with OEMs, divisions, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
