Job summary

Magna Steyr USA is seeking a Vehicle Integration Project Engineer to support the design, development, validation and launch of vehicle systems and complete vehicle programs. You will collaborate with OEMs, Magna engineering teams, suppliers and manufacturing to meet specifications, quality, cost and timing targets.

The role requires leading DFMEA/DVP&R activities, coordinating validation plans and ensuring manufacturability while guiding cross-functional teams through development and launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R and engineering release processes.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering and set-based design.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, validation, integration & launch of vehicle systems & programs.
• Coordinate engineering requirements, performance targets & technical deliverables.
• Lead validation planning, including virtual and physical testing, with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and review DFMEAs, DVP&Rs and design documentation throughout development.
• Ensure manufacturability and alignment with cost targets and timing milestones.
