Job summary

BraunAbility is seeking a Lead Vehicle Engineer to drive end-to-end vehicle system development for WAVs (Wheelchair Access Vehicles). The role combines deep technical leadership with governance of safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective production readiness.

Qualifications

BS Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
Minimum 10+ years engineering experience.
Participation in 5+ development cycles across all phases of product development.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
Design and develop new vehicle conversions in CAD.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
Coordinate with product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Lead end-to-end development of vehicle systems from concept through production launch.
