Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a System Architect for automotive programs to validate system feasibility against quality, cost, and schedule goals. You will drive functional decomposition, maximize reuse of components, and coordinate analysts, system designers, and component leads across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in functional/system design in multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure feasibility of the system's design according to quality/cost/schedule objectives.
• Standardize and maximize reuse of functions and components to optimize time to market and cost.
• Oversee and coordinate activities of multiple referents from dedicated disciplines.
• Organize and conduct main system technical reviews (System Requirements Review, Systems Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review).
• Organize and control system architecture activities and results through PLM tools and manage system lifecycle.
• Monitor and control the progressive achievement of the desired system product through architectural views and data.
• Provide a System level technical status to the project manager.
