You will review FMVSS and other standards, draft clear conclusions, and represent the company in safety tests and regulatory inquiries. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate a dynamic regulatory landscape, with up to 20% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related analytical field.
• 5+ years of experience in regulatory/compliance.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review regulations and test procedures (FMVSS, state, territories) for product applicability and draft conclusions.
• Represent company during safety compliance tests and investigate issues.
• Perform visual compliance audits on new products.
• Support vehicle homologation and self-certification efforts.
• Prepare reports and responses to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Engage in cross-functional activities to support compliance efforts.
