Job summary

42dot is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations & Integration Engineer to support its autonomous driving program. You will lead hands-on integration, validation, and maintenance of development vehicles used for software-defined vehicle and data collection efforts, reporting to the Fleet Operations Manager.

You will collaborate with autonomous driving, perception, embedded software, and hardware teams to keep test assets safe, functional, and ready for critical R&D activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle integration and validation for autonomous driving hardware.
• Ability to document issues and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Experience with sensor deployments and testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, and troubleshoot autonomous driving sensor suites and compute platforms.
• Support prototype vehicle builds and software integration activities.
• Validate hardware and software releases prior to deployment.
• Coordinate vehicle modifications with internal teams and upfitting vendors.
• Prepare vehicles for ADAS, ML, and perception data collection.
• Deploy sensors and validate data collection systems before field deployments.
• Provide field support during testing and demonstrations.
• Ensure vehicles and test assets are safe, functional, and available for R&D.
