Vastika Inc, Evans, GA, seeks a Senior Vehicle Engineer to lead the design and development of vehicle components for customers worldwide. The onsite, 12-month contract role requires a passion for vehicles and a drive to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to bring new products to market.

You will own engineering release plans, apply DFMEA and APQP practices, coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing, and mentor junior engineers while delivering projects on quality,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in vehicle-related design is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design process for vehicle components from concept to production.
• Transform market requirements into system specifications.
• Represent Engineering on cross-functional teams.
• Ensure DFMEA, DVP, APQP, and Technical Design Reviews.
• Create and own the Engineering Release Plan for components and BOMs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing for DFM and production integration.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Develop project schedules and drive cross-functional teams.
