Job summary

Vastika Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer focused on the development of vehicles used by customers around the world. You will join a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment to bring new and exciting products to market, driven by a passion for vehicles.

You will apply Creo and engineering design standards, collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions, and lead engineering reviews to support timely program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of vehicle-related design/engineering experience.
• Experience working as an engineer in a vehicle related business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of vehicle components and systems from concept to production.
• Translate market requirements into specifications for systems and subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.
• Represent Engineering on cross-functional new product development teams.
• Develop and maintain the Engineering Release Plan for components and BOMs.
• Work with suppliers to develop components to Car specifications.
