Exponent is seeking a Senior Vehicle Engineer in our Vehicle Engineering Practice. You will join a multidisciplinary team to analyze and reconstruct transportation incidents, investigate mechanical failures, and evaluate vehicle structures and safety across consumer and industrial products.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or closely related field.
• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering preferred for higher level roles.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain licensure is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform technical engineering analyses of vehicle accidents and related incidents.
• Conduct field investigations, including site and vehicle inspections.
• Plan and execute crash, sled, and component tests; evaluate designs and performance.
• Prepare clear technical reports and present findings to diverse audiences.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion and communicate progress to clients.
