Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Familiarity with automotive systems and vehicle technology.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required.
• Experience in technical or scholarly writing.
• Hands-on garage, workshop, field, or lab experience with vehicles or instrumentation.
• Field or lab measurement experience.
• Knowledge of dynamics, mechanical design, and CAD.
• P.E. license or willingness to obtain one.
• Team-oriented, prepared to work overtime and travel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to present to specialists and non-specialists.
• Clear written and verbal communication; dedication to quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Communicating project updates to team members, clients, and staff.
• Ensuring deadlines are met and work product is exceptional.
• Identifying business development opportunities.
• Setting up and executing test programs, including full-scale vehicle tests and evaluations.
• Developing specialized automotive expertise and analyzing transportation accidents.

Education

Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related engineering field
