Job summary

FR Conversions LLC in Westminster, MD is seeking two Warranty & Diagnostics Technicians to support post-delivery quality and field service for our fleet of converted ambulances, mobility vans, and specialty vehicles.

This senior, hands-on role performs complex diagnostic and repair work across mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, with periodic field service and travel up to 25%. The position is on-site in Westminster with on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with minimal supervision.
Strong background in electrical diagnostics, OEM systems and custom wiring.
Proven ability to identify root cause and perform durable repairs.
Hands-on experience across multiple vehicle platforms.
ASE Certification current and welding certification required.
Willingness to support a 25% travel on-call schedule.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve complex warranty issues across multiple vehicle systems.
Troubleshoot OEM platforms with custom wiring and harnesses.
Perform mechanical repairs, adjustments, and welding within vehicle environments.
Document findings, root cause, and corrective actions.
Provide field service at customer locations and respond to on-call needs.
Support Quality and Engineering with repair standards improvements.
