Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detailer in Atlanta to thoroughly clean and prepare vehicles for auctions and customers. You will handle interior and exterior detailing, assist with engine bay cleaning, and ensure all areas meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining facilities, following safety procedures, and helping on sale days. The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license; equipment handling and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience.
• Or 5 years' experience with an advanced degree/certification.
• Or 9 years' experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles and areas such as ashtrays, consoles, seats, and trunk.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washer or auto wash, clean engine compartment and battery terminals.
• Detail vehicles by cleaning and dressing trim, windows, wheels, and interior surfaces.
• Maintain buildings, property and grounds, including safety procedures and equipment upkeep.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, including transporting supplies and assisting on sale days.
