Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead vegetation management projects that safeguard utility infrastructure and promote environmental responsibility.

You will oversee multi-phase projects under master service contracts, coordinate field crews, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strong client relationships. Travel up to 25% may be required and PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Forestry, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in vegetation management, right-of-way clearing, utility services, or similar heavy civil sectors.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• PMP certification required and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project life cycle under vegetation management master service contracts.
• Collaborate with client, stakeholders and field supervision to oversee field operations and drive execution.
• Lead project strategy and optimization efforts for budget, scheduling, and operations.
• Mentor and coach junior Project Managers and field supervisors to build a high-performing team.
• Enhance client relationships and serve as a primary escalation point for major issues.
