Job summary

The position requires travel across the PG&E territory, with relocation as needed. The starting wage is $47.94 per hour, set by local bargaining agreements and influenced by location and experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in tree crew roles or vegetation management inspection with required licenses or certifications.
• Class C driver's license required.
• Must be willing to travel across PG&E service territory and relocate if requested.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification and CPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vegetation management work on Electric Distribution or Transmission systems.
• Ensure safety and adherence to applicable rules, regulations and standards.
• May audit work by Vegetation Management Inspectors to ensure compliance.
• May assist with training and onboarding of Vegetation Management Inspectors.
• Provide guidance to Vegetation Management Inspectors.
• Document Safety Observations and Good Catches.

Education

Class C driver's license

OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification

Certified Tree Safety Professional certification
