Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4 years journey-level experience in utility construction or related field.
• Extensive travel (~90%) and outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan upfront activities with walk-downs, design reviews, and constructability checks.
• Oversee substation construction projects and site safety.
• Ensure new equipment forms are filed in the system of record.
• Maintain physical and cyber security for substations during construction.
• Coordinate with clearance holders and schedule clearances.
• Issue field authorizations for scope changes.
• Resolve complex material and engineering issues.
• Provide status reports to Project Managers on scope, schedule, cost changes.
• Ensure contractor work aligns with PG&E financial interests.
• Verify work is completed to specs and approve invoices with Contract Management.
