Job summary

A Software Packaging Engineer (VDI) is sought by Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) for the Springfield, VA location. The role involves managing a group of systems, packaging software, and supporting VDI endpoints, with emphasis on security, troubleshooting, and documentation.

An active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph are required. The successful candidate will automate software deployments, support software/hardware issues, and contribute to technical documentation

Qualifications

5–10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong writing skills for documentation and notes.
Time management and ability to work in a team.
Experience with troubleshooting and documenting problems.

Responsibilities

Manage functionality and efficiency of a group of computers across one or more operating systems.
Maintains server and system integrity and security.
Set up administrator and service accounts; maintain system documentation.
Interact with users and evaluate vendor products; recommend hardware/software purchases.
Develop and monitor policies for allocation of computing resources; participate in special projects as required.
