Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC in Aurora, CO seeks a senior VDI Engineer to advance Citrix Xen Desktop and NetScaler deployments in a large enterprise environment. The role covers design, testing, implementation, and security of VDI across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid architectures.

You will collaborate with Government stakeholders to ensure ATO readiness, manage Citrix and Azure VDI products, and provide Tier 3 support while developing comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma and 10+ years experience, or an Associate's with 8+ years, or a Bachelor's with 6+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; CI Poly willingness.
• Experience designing, developing, maintaining infrastructure for desktop packaging and deployment.
• Knowledge of Citrix XenApp, AppLayering, and Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM).
• Hands-on SQL Clustering Failover experience.
• Knowledge of cloud, networking, and enterprise architectures.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 SOE and imaging, evergreen, etc.
• Experience with Remote Desktop Service (RDS) on Windows Server 2019/2022.
• Ability to deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) on Windows Server 2019/2022.

Responsibilities

• Engineering, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, securing, and managing the full life cycle of Citrix Xen Desktop and NetScaler solutions.
• Designing and supporting Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop, on-prem, cloud and hybrid.
• Interacting with Government stakeholders regarding technical considerations for problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Engineering, implementing, mitigating, monitoring, and tuning VDI environment and management software to obtain ATO for new VDI solutions.
• Managing Citrix products (Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, Provisioning).
• Managing Azure products (Azure Virtual Desktops).
• Operating and executing scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
• Providing Tier 3 and above support as needed (troubleshooting, RCA).
• Preparing and maintaining documentation for VDI solutions, processes, and procedures related to engineering projects.
