Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a VDI Engineer to design, implement and secure Citrix Xen Desktop and NetScaler solutions for a government environment. The role covers Azure Virtual Desktop, on-prem, cloud, and hybrid architectures with a focus on achieving ATO and robust performance.

The candidate will interact with government stakeholders, provide Tier 3 support, and document processes and configurations across the VDI stack. A TS/SCI clearance is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI Poly.
• Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructure for desktop packaging/deployment technologies.
• Expertise with Citrix XenApp, AppLayering and Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM).
• Windows 10/11 SOE imaging and evergreen lifecycle experience.
• Experience with Remote Desktop Service (RDS) on Windows Server 2019/2022.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, test, implement, maintain, secure, and manage the full lifecycle of Citrix Xen Desktop and NetScaler in large enterprise environments.
• Design and support Microsoft infrastructure solutions including Azure Virtual Desktop and hybrid deployments.
• Interact with Government stakeholders on technical considerations and resolve issues.
• Deploy and tune VDI environments to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Provide Tier 3+ support and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Prepare and maintain documentation for VDI solutions and engineering projects.
