Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Sr IT Engineer (VDI) in Columbus, OH to design, deploy, and maintain our virtual desktop infrastructure. You will ensure fast, reliable, and secure remote work with strong collaboration with security and IT teams.

The role requires 8 years of technical engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree, and expertise in Horizon-based VDI, application publishing, and capacity management. It reports to IT Enterprise Endpoint Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Related Field is required.
• 8 years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience administering and maintaining a VDI environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain the VDI environment.
• Lead technology strategy and roadmap efforts for infrastructure technologies.
• Analyze and coordinate administrative, operational, and financial initiatives including cost optimization.
