Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks an experienced Endpoint Solutions - Engineering specialist to design, administer, and optimize Horizon-based VDI across ICE’s global estate.

You will manage images, desktops pools, Instant Clone lifecycle, and ensure optimal user experience and secure access. The role requires 5+ years of Horizon and Windows 11 experience, strong scripting skills (PowerShell/PowerCLI), and collaboration with security, network and application teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, administering and troubleshooting enterprise VDI (Horizon).
• Strong VMware vSphere concepts including clusters, storage, and lifecycle management.
• 5+ years managing Windows 11 in physical/virtual environments.
• 5+ years building desktop infrastructure with SCCM/Intune/Tanium.
• PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement management systems and infrastructure.
• Design and support Horizon-based desktop delivery and VDI optimization.
• Manage golden images, desktop pools, Instant Clone lifecycle, entitlements, and app delivery.
• Troubleshoot VDI performance, login times, and user experience across stack.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, identity and app teams for security and resilience.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours/weekend support.
• Mentor teammates and partner teams with knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with supported tech and apply new features to business needs.
• Lead projects end-to-end with guidance when needed.
