Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking an Endpoint Solutions - Engineering professional to enhance Horizon-based VDI.

You will design, administer, and optimize the enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure, manage golden images and pools, and ensure secure, scalable delivery across ICE’s global endpoint estate. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in VMware Horizon, vSphere, and modern endpoint management (Intune, SCCM).

Qualifications

Virtualization / Horizon Infrastructure: Strong experience designing, administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise VDI.
Experience with Windows 11 in physical and virtual environments (5+ years).
Proficiency in patch management and endpoint maintenance.
Scripting in PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI for automation.
Collaborative work with IT teams to deliver secure, scalable endpoints.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, design, and implementation of management systems and infrastructure.
Design, maintain, and support enterprise VDI with a focus on Horizon-based delivery.
Manage golden images, desktop pools, Instant Clone lifecycle, entitlements, and app delivery workflows.
Troubleshoot VDI performance, availability, access, profile, connectivity, and user experience issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, identity, and application teams to keep the VDI platform secure and efficient.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours/weekend support.
Mentor teammates and partner teams with knowledge and guidance.
Stay current with supported technologies and apply new features to business needs.
Take projects from idea to completion independently with guidance as needed.
