Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company in Atlanta seeks a Senior VDC Manager to oversee the use of VDC technologies on multi-project efforts, ensuring contractual compliance, productivity, and risk mitigation. You will mentor on-site, regional, and corporate staff and demonstrate strong leadership and client service skills.

The role requires business acumen, excellent time management, and the ability to align BIM/VDC workflows with project goals while upholding our guiding principles and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent.
• 15 years of industry experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and assist precon when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform constructability reviews with Estimators on alternate construction means and methods, site logistics, general requirements, hoisting systems, and staffing requirements.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings with Owner/Architect for BIM and VDC efforts on a project.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Assign project team responsibilities; establish admin procedures, goals, and ensure contract compliance.
• Develop effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among project participants.
• Support management in recruiting, training, and mentoring new employees.
• Ensure compliance with standard processes and utilization of technology.
• Prepare the VDC information within monthly Project Status Reports; identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
