Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Senior VDC Specialist in Austin to lead BIM administration and coordination on assigned projects. You will assemble 3D content, support BIM processes, and maintain project documentation to help drive delivery success.

The role requires 2+ years in BIM and construction, proficiency with Revit and other Autodesk tools, and strong collaboration across project teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience considered in lieu.
• 2+ years BIM-related experience required.
• 2+ years construction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides models and documents necessary to complete scope determined with VDC leadership and project teams.
• Assembles 3D content modeled by others and models content not provided.
• Learns and maintains a productive BIM process.
• Creates and maintains project documentation (agendas, minutes, constraint logs).
• Supports RFI process for BIM items.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
• Reads and applies BIM requirements to VDC processes.
• Incorporates design updates into project models.
• Analyzes construction documents for errors/omissions and corrects.
• Self-perform model management and layout as needed.
