Job summary

Meade is seeking an experienced VDC Coordinator Lead to manage project VDC/BIM processes, lead teams, develop execution strategies, train and mentor staff, and ensure model accuracy, bridging technology with project goals for complex builds, focusing on coordination, clash detection, and implementing best practices from throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in VDC/BIM coordination within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in VDC/BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, construction means, methods, MEP systems, and other relevant tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary BIM/VDC point person, managing VDC support for multiple projects, and leading teams.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), adhering to company standards.
• Create and manage federated models (Navisworks), ensuring content from all disciplines is integrated and clashes are identified and resolved.
• Lead clash detection meetings, facilitate internal/external reviews, and ensure alignment with design intent and project goals.
• Provide advanced support, troubleshooting model issues (especially MEP/FP), and support field layout processes.
• Conduct periodic reviews of VDC processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new processes.
• Drive innovation, implement new technologies, and enhance current VDC workflows.
• Prepare meeting minutes, track changes, and manage RFI processes related to BIM.
• Model maintenance and quality control of all Meade models.
• Oversee multiple complex projects or large portfolios.
• Contribute to regional or national VDC strategy.
