Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a VDC Senior Engineer to become a vital part of their project teams. This role includes facilitating 3D and 2D coordination, providing technical support for BIM activities, and performing virtual building analyses. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, along with 3-5 years of AEC industry experience, particularly in MEP coordination. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a discretionary annual bonus and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP coordination.
• Solid knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate to a job site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for BIM-centric activities.
• Assist design-build team with 3D and 2D coordination.
• Perform material quantity take-off for conceptual estimating.

Skills

3-5 years of experience in AEC industry

3 years of experience with VDC/BIM related processes

Knowledge of Autodesk Building Design Suite

Experience with Structionsite, DroneDeploy, BIM 360

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
