Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a VDC Senior Engineer in South Bend, Indiana. This role involves aiding the design-build team with 3D/2D coordination, providing technical support, performing clash detection, and engaging in various BIM-centric activities. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, possess extensive experience in MEP coordination and VDC processes, and be willing to travel. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP coordination.
• Solid knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
• Experience with Autodesk Building Design Suite (Revit, Assemble Systems, AutoCAD, Navisworks) required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Structionsite, DroneDeploy, and BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 3D and 2D coordination for the design‑build team.
• Provide technical support for applications used in‑house.
• Assist Pre‑Con with quantities extraction and scheduling.
• Perform clash detection on virtual building model.

Skills

3‑5 years of experience in AEC industry

Experience with VDC/BIM related processes

Knowledge of construction principles/practices

Experience with Autodesk Building Design Suite

Experience with Structionsite and BIM 360

Willingness to travel

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
