Job summary

The University of Washington, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level without tenure (WOT), starting Summer 2027. The position is primarily based at Harborview Medical Center with duties in clinical care and teaching.

Compensation includes base salary plus incentives; total annual compensation ranges from $505,000 to $740,000 depending on rank, experience, and contributions.

Qualifications

• MD degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Board eligibility (or foreign equivalent) by the American Board of Surgery, inclusive of completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE).
• Eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing vascular surgeon after completion of vascular surgery training.
• Eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign medical schools must show completion of all three USMLE steps, or equivalent.
