Job summary

Colliers in Miami seeks a Senior Valuation Specialist to apply valuation principles across property types in commercial real estate. You will execute valuation assignments for corporate clients, REITs, pension funds, lenders, and more, delivering clear, data-driven reports.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, an active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, NAV, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs, pension funds, open and closed-end funds, lenders, etc.
• Work with team members and independently across geographies to deliver client service and results.
• Gather data through interviews with Brokers and Property Managers.
• Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
• Present results of analysis clearly and concisely.

As Senior Valuation Specialist, you will be responsible for applying a proven understanding of the principles of valuation and for the valuation of all property types within the commercial real estate industry.

• Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs (publicly traded & non-traded), pension funds, open and closed-end funds, lenders, etc.
• Work with other Team members and independently across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
• Independently gather pertinent data through direct client interaction, including personal & telephone interviews with Brokers and Property Managers.
• Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
• Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.

What you’ll bring

• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• CRE experience/ background to perform the role.
• Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
