Job summary

Search Services is seeking a Valuations Senior Associate in Houston to join our corporate accounting and finance team. You will help value investments in portfolio companies, supervise analysts, and support external auditors with valuation data.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and deadline-driven performance in a deadline-sensitive environment, with opportunities to advance valuation/finance skills.

Qualifications

• Public accounting or public accounting/industry mix preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in banking, accounting, or related finance function.
• CPA or CFA designation or in progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist lower middle market and middle market investment groups in quarterly portfolio company valuation models.
• Review valuation models on a quarterly basis with leadership.
• Review and analyze valuation metrics/summary schedules.
• Supervise and develop valuation analysts.
• Coordinate valuation data with external auditors and third-party consultants.
• Prepare internal management reporting and analysis.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as directed by executives.
• Prepare Investor and Analyst presentations.
