Job summary

Stout is seeking a valuation advisory professional with 3–5 years of experience to join our Machinery & Equipment practice in the United States. You will perform tangible asset valuations for litigation support and property tax disputes, participate in client meetings, and help develop valuation opinions with senior engagement leaders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of valuation advisory experience for complex industrial property.
• 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative field.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong financial theory, economics, accounting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; document workpapers clearly.
• Attention to detail and strong organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with work ethic and accountability.
• Professional presence and client relationship skills.
• Pursuit of ASA accreditation.
• Interest in AI tools to improve research and analysis.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engagement workstreams and manage priorities.
• Apply professional judgment to valuation assumptions and analyses.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues through clear communication.
• Provide guidance to Analysts and review workpapers.
• Deliver comprehensive deliverables, including reports and presentations.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve research and prep while following firm standards.
