  • Set up, execute and document development and validation tests on high-voltage power electronics systems.
  • Conduct environmental testing, including thermal, vibration, humidity, corrosion and electrical performance testing.
  • Record, analyse and document test results, preparing clear and accurate technical reports.
  • Support root-cause investigations and troubleshooting of issues identified during validation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support product development, testing requirements and technical issue resolution.
Instrumentation & Test Equipment
  • Select, install and configure instrumentation to collect accurate test response data.
  • Work with accelerometers, strain gauges, pressure gauges, thermocouples, voltage sensing leads and related instrumentation.
  • Independently operate oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, flowmeters and other laboratory equipment.
  • Fabricate specialised electronic test equipment and test harnesses to support development and validation activities.
  • Assist with the design and fabrication of mechanical fixtures, jigs and harnesses.
  • Support testing involving thermal management equipment, including chillers.
  • Maintain accurate test documentation, technical records and validation reports.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, engineering documentation and manufacturers' datasheets.
  • Communicate test results, technical findings and recommended corrective actions to engineering stakeholders.
  • Support testing at external facilities when required.
  • Work flexibly to accommodate testing schedules and development milestones.
Required Qualifications
  • Technical degree in electronics, mechanics or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience conducting environmental validation testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience fabricating specialised electronic test equipment and test harnesses.
  • Practical experience working with high-voltage electrical systems and a strong understanding of high-voltage safety procedures.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, flowmeters and related laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and manufacturers' technical datasheets.
  • Experience configuring instrumentation and supporting electrical or mechanical validation activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required and travel up to 20% to external testing facilities.
