Polaris Inc. is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer within its Vehicle Electronics and Software organization to lead validation for RIDE COMMAND display and gauge hardware and software across multiple product lines.

You will own subsystem validation strategy, planning, test coverage, and execution in partnership with internal and external teams, guiding engineers and technicians and communicating risks to stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; related discipline with relevant experience considered.
• 6+ years of experience in design, verification, or validation of electronics (vehicle controls, displays, or communication equipment).
• Experience leading validation efforts and mentoring engineers/technicians.
• Experience with CAN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, VHF, and cellular technologies; UDS and J1939 strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile software development in the automotive industry; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with requirements, test case, and configuration management tools (DOORS, TestRail, CodeBeamer) preferred.

• Lead hardware and software validation through simulation, bench, and vehicle testing with teams.
• Own subsystem validation strategies, DVP&R documentation, test plans, and coverage; coordinate with leaders and managers.
• Manage multiple component-level validation efforts and align with program schedules.
• Create and maintain test bench setups and simulation scripts for repeatable validation.
• Lead failure investigations and root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Review hardware and software requirements; provide feedback on unclear or incomplete requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in validation processes, tools, and test automation; align with standards.
• Provide validation status, risk assessments, and release readiness recommendations to leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians through reviews of test cases and defect reports.
• Coordinate validation execution and release schedules with cross-functional Polaris teams and external partners.
