Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical/Hardware Verification Engineer in California to join a highly technical team focused on processor silicon interface features with a strong emphasis on power management.

You will develop and execute platform-level electrical & functional test plans, validate processor I/O interfaces, and provide guidance to junior engineers while using oscilloscopes and analyzers to verify designs and behavior.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of related experience in electrical/processor validation.
• Experience developing and executing platform level electrical & functional test plans.
• Strong debug skills for processor and PC platform I/O interfaces.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and reading schematics/layout documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans for processor interface features with power management focus.
• Write comprehensive electrical & functional test plans for processor validation.
• Execute tests on client processors using hardware & software validation tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
• Debug electrical & functional issues for new processors.
• Contribute input to platform definition and review platform designs used in silicon validation.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced engineers and technicians in planning, tests, and debugging.
